• The thin walls make it impossible to avoid hearing other guests' conversations, particularly from the verandah area at night.
• Struggling with the front gate mechanism every time they needed to enter or exit.
• Some outside rooms had no hot water for days and were located far from kitchen facilities.
• Located on Union Street in Gardens with bars and restaurants within walking distance.
• Historic house with poor sound insulation, conversations from the verandah and other rooms are clearly audible. Front gate is difficult to operate and requires effort to open.
• Rooms are spacious with good quality beds, but shower facilities need upgrading and hot water supply can be inconsistent.
• Kitchen and bar fridge are located far from some rooms, making self-catering inconvenient. Parking is problematic with limited availability.
• Pool is located at the main hostel building where reception, breakfast service, and drinks are also available.
