The read
- What it feels like
- A four-kilometer stretch of golden sand with a handful of beach bars and restaurants. No resorts blocking the view. The road in is bumpy but that keeps the numbers down. Sunsets here are the best in Palawan.
- Who is around
- Backpackers on scooters, a few yoga retreat guests, and local fishermen pulling in nets
- On foot
- The beach itself is a long walk (about 4 kilometres). Getting here from town requires a tricycle or motorbike.
- After dark
- Almost no lighting after dark. A couple of beachfront spots serve dinner by candlelight. Bring a flashlight for the walk back to your guesthouse.
