The read
- What it feels like
- Koh Touch is the developed side of the island. Beach bars line the sand and music plays after dark. During the day it empties out as people snorkel or nap.
- Who is around
- Young backpackers, gap year groups, and a few solo travellers looking for a scene
- On foot
- Sandy paths only, no paved roads. Everything is within a 10-minute walk but flip-flops get stuck in deep sand.
- After dark
- Beach bars play music until late and bonfires light up the shoreline. The sandy paths are unlit, so a phone flashlight is useful for getting back to your room.
